Welcome to the Love Vultures Website
We’re a Bristol band who play pubs, clubs, parties and events throughout Bristol and the South West. Our music is a mix of Funk, Pop and Ska, with the occasional oddball thrown in for good measure. Speaking of oddballs, our three singers, Charlie, Jess and Helen like to entertain in the widest sense of the word, mixing music with cabaret and, frankly, a dash of french farce.

If you’re looking for a great band for a party or other event, please give us a call on 07967 334327 or email us at: info@lovevultures.co.uk

Gig last night at Redwood Lodge in Bristol. Shirehampton Circket Club’s 150th year celebration, with Graham Gooch, no less, as after dinner speaker. We were on last of course, which technically makes Goochy our support act. We didn’t mention it to him, just out of politeness. Great gig & a great sound system (about the biggest we’ve used, felt like Led Zep!

We also did the CD mixing back at Toybox today, which was tremendous. The amount of the creative process involved at this point, after the tracks have been recorded is amazing (by creative, read tidying up all the bits we forgot, played wrong, sniggered during etc etc). Toybox people were great again - thanks Steff.

We spent all day at Toybox studios in Bristol today, recording the tracks you can see on the left. We already had some but they were single-takes and sounded flat and lifeless. This time we recorded all the parts as individual tracks, though for the most part we played them together as a band. It’s a fascinating process and great fun. You can see why bands like spending weeks in a studio, recording albums. We did 5 tracks that we know very well and it was still a long and intense process.
